- Home Library/Homework room- Built in shelves to hold your book collection would be a great spot in your dining room. You could even leave the dining table in the library area for large holidays. A homework space is also a great idea for an unused dining room. Children have so many distractions these days, so a dedicated space for homework would be great.
- Sitting Room- More seating and less formal environment is great when you are hosting gathers vs formal dinners. It can also act as a cozy reading nook or separate television rooms for families with different tastes.
- Adult Pub Room- The children have had the run of the house for a long time, so making this space into an adult sanctuary with a bar and games would be a fun date night location.
